Stonycreek Pond – in Western PA mountaintop farmland
16 wooded acres of Family Camping
Amenities:
Camping sites: 12 flat, gravel/grass sites with water and electric (for RVs, or with adapter for 110 – adapters available). Some shaded. Some with picnic tables and fire rings. Direct sewage hookup on three, or dump site.
Facilities: One “outhouse” with seasonal flush toilet, one rustic cold-water shower stall.
Firepit: for communal evening fires, s’mores and kettle corn. Outdoor movies on large screen by cottage.
Orchard Garden: with dwarf fruit trees, asparagus, blueberries. Open picking: strawberries in season, along with wild blackberries and raspberries throughout the acreage in season. Maple tapping in Spring available.
Foundation garden: Garden in 1700s stone foundation of house original to the property.
2 Ponds: frog lily pond and swimming/fish pond (springfed with cold (!) fresh running water through August), stocked with blue gill and bass. Innertube floats and some fishing rods available, and worms for the digging.
Games: Horseshoes, badminton/volleyball, Frisbees, other lawn games.
Trails: hiking all throughout sixteen wooded acres (no known poison ivy!). (No ATVs or other motorized vehicles allowed on trails without express notice.)

Quiet hours from 11 p.m. – 7 a.m.
Coffee and firewood provided! We invite you to enjoy fresh coffee with us every morning beginning at 7:30 a.m. by the Pond.
Stonycreek Pond is smokefree throughout its acreage, so we all can enjoy your camping site, the communal areas, and even the woods trails smokefree. Those not adhering to this policy will be asked to leave.
Stonycreek Pond is a family-oriented camp, so alcohol consumption should be reasonable and behavior should be family-appropriate at all times. Those not adhering to this policy will be asked to leave.
No pets allowed without express permission. We can recommend local, friendly kennels upon request.
